One Month One Dream

Hi, I’m Yumsis, a Korean woman who used to be stuck in the nine-to-five grind not so long ago. Despite being pressured by deadlines and overtime, there was always one thing that kept my spirit alive: TRAVEL. Whether it was sneaking in a quick getaway during annual leave or hopping on any opportunity for an overseas business trip, I made sure to feed my wanderlust. Over the years, I’ve set foot in 41 countries across every continent. Each journey, whether for work or leisure, has enriched my life in ways I never thought possible.

But one day, as I scrolled through the blogs of fellow adventurers living their best lives abroad, a question struck me: “Why can’t I live like that?” And with that simple question, a seed of inspiration was planted—a dream to break free from the ordinary and embrace a life of adventure.

And so, I decided to to live in a new city around the world for at least ONE MONTH, as long as my travel visa allows. It’s about making ONE DREAM come true every month! My journey, starting with a year-long sojourn in Jeju, which retains the charm of a volcanic island, continues to Southeast Asia.
